Note from Marilyn Laszlo, July 2006 Dear Friend,These are exciting days as I travel from one end of the country to the other. In over 40 years of ministry, I have never seen a harvest like I am seeing. People are ready to step out for the Lord. I hope you realize that it is through the gifts that come from people like you that keep the ministry moving ahead. People seem to be hungry for something positive and to be able to laugh, cry, and rejoice in the Lord. So many lives have been changed and touched. Thank you. The ways in which you have supported the projects that we have promoted have been utterly phenomenal... the Iraqi Bible Translation project for one. We raised $40,000 in less than one year. The Chaldean Bible is now being published, and thousands of copies of the Bible will soon be on their way to be distributed to hundreds of churches and to be given to thousands of Christians in Baghdad. Yes, YOU have been a part in spreading the Word to another part of the world. The other project of raising funds for clean water systems for villages in Papua New Guinea has been going really well. These villages are not too far from the village in which I worked, Hauna Village. I know these people. We have raised around $20,000 since January 2006. WOW! That is incredible. Two villages will soon hae a clean water system, and many lives will be saved because of this. Yes, YOU have made this possible in a very short period of time, not to mention giving to my personal support, too, so I can stay alive and keep traveling along doing the Lord's work. I'm really excited to have you as my friend. We would like to try and supply a few more of these water systems to the villages along the Sepik River area, so this project is still WIDE OPEN. The water systems are $10,000 per village. I will let you know the name of the next village. The group installing the water systems is Pacific Island Ministries. The people are close friends of mine. They will provide us with some photos once they get these water systems in place, which is not an easy task. Pray for them. Real people, real needs, real hope. Marilyn Laszlo
