Laszlo Mission League

Note from Marilyn Laszlo, January 2005

Dear Friend,

Well, the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season, and New Year’s is behind us. Actually I was flying to California on Christmas Day and to New Hampshire on New Year’s Day for two three day conferences.

On New Year’s Eve, did you sing the traditional song, “Auld Lang Syne?” Do you know what it means? It is an old Scottish song written by Robert Burns and means, “Time remembered with fondness.” Remembering people who have meant something in your life.

So here we are, another year has begun, and I feel so blessed. The exciting and awesome opportunities the Lord continually unfolds as I speak across the country is totally amazing to me. What a year it has been. Every weekend in 2005 is full through May and then September through November is full. The summer will probably fill up with camps.

I never thought I would have a traveling career, telling my story of the life-changing power of God’s Word. I often wish people like you could witness the responses as I share my life experiences – encouraging, challenging, and motivating young and old to move out of their comfort zones and become an active part of the Great Commission. The emotion of joy, tears, laughter, and praise are so stirring as God touches hearts, and people are confronted with the fact that they are very special to God and have been chosen and appointed for a very special purpose.

Here are just a couple comments:

“Her witness was one of the top rated events we have held for our students.” Andrews University

“Marilyn was excellent. People are still commenting about the thought provoking things she shared. God is at work here. Two people specifically have felt a tug to the mission field and are praying now on it. People felt very comfortable and connected to her and wanted to hear more.” Southwood Presbyterian Church

Jesus said, “ Go into all the world and preach the gospel.” The Good News…that’s what we do.

Don’t forget to pray for the Iraqi Chaldean Translation Project. We still have a ways to go. I have Sunday school kids (elementary through High School) putting their pennies, nickels, dimes, etc. into a jar until they get $4.00. That buys one Bible for someone in Iraq. It works.

I wish you God’s greatest joy this new year of 2005.

With Grateful Appreciation,
Marilyn Laszlo

P.S. Enclosed is a flyer of my latest new video – extreme sports with teenagers. Order it now for your kids and grandkids. $20.00
